The Ai Tardi Hotel Restaurant sits at the top of a hill with commanding views over the picturesque vineyards of the Langhe hills. Monviso, the crown of the Maritime Alps, provides the backdrop.
The vineyards surrounding the hotel produce Dolcetti di Diano d’Alba or Diano d’Alba., which is probably the most complex and structured of the wines to come from the Dolcetto grape. The best vineyards are called Sòri, meaning sunny in the Piemontese dialect, and there are 77 of these favoured zones within the municipality of Diano d’Alba.
The Ai Tardi is only 7 km from Alba, home of the famous International White Truffle Fair. Also within a few minutes you can travel through the vineyards, past castles and cantinas ,to towns like Barolo with it’s wine museum, to La Morra, Monforte, Serralunga, Verduna, Grinzane Cavour, and further into the Alta Langhe, Murazzano e Bossolasco.
